Weekend services at Canterbury Cathedral

Vasari Singers returns to Canterbury Cathedral to celebrate 40 years as a visiting choir. At Evensong on Friday 24th July, we'll be marking the 90th birthday of composer Humphrey Clucas, a close friend of the choir, by singing his Preces and Responses, Mag & Nunc for double choir, and anthem Round Me Falls the Night, which was written for us in 1986.
Over the weekend, we'll also be singing responses by Matthew Wood - a long-serving Vasari baritone - and music by Roxanna Panufnik, Philip Moore, Cecilia McDowell, Flor Peeters, and Olivier Messiaen. And we finish with Sunday Evensong, where you'll hear Howells Coll Reg and Bainton's And I Saw a New Heaven.
It's a celebratory weekend of outstanding music - join us if you can!
