YMCA Summer Day Camp returns to the Ted Whitlock Community Center for another exciting season of fun, friendship, and discovery for children entering 1st grade through exiting 5th grade. Each day is designed to help campers unplug from screens, build confidence, and create lasting memories in a safe and engaging environment. Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including swimming, creative arts, sports, group games, and outdoor adventures, all led by trained and caring staff dedicated to your child’s safety and success.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM throughout the summer. The program features 10 themed weeks—from Camp Kickoff Carnival and Superhero Academy to Beach Bash Week and Roundup Rodeo—allowing families to register for individual weeks or the full summer experience.
Weekly camp fees are $120 per child, with a one-time $25 registration fee. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Registration is completed online, and weekly spots are not guaranteed until payment is received.
Families interested in securing all 10 weeks may take advantage of the recurring payment option, which allows for automatic weekly payments and ensures your child’s place without needing to register week by week.
Financial assistance may be available for eligible families through the City of Palm Bay Recreation Department. Eligibility may include participation in programs such as Free/Reduced Lunch or EBT Food Assistance, as well as other income-based qualifications.
All families seeking financial assistance must complete the official application and submit required documentation before registering for camp. Applications are accepted beginning April 1 and must be approved prior to receiving any discount. Additional information can be found at www.palmbayfl.gov/daycamps.
Registration is available online at https://ymcacf.org/programs/camps/elementary. Weekly spaces are not guaranteed until that week is paid for. Families enrolling for the full summer may select the recurring payment option by providing a credit card on file, with payments automatically processed each Friday prior to the upcoming camp week. This option is available until the start of Week 1.
Families may also explore the themed camp weeks and register based on their child’s interests and schedule, with the flexibility to sign up one week at a time.
