About this Event

Join the St. Pete Eco Club for a morning exploring Weedon Island Preserve while learning about the natural spaces that make Pinellas County so special — and how we can help protect them.

We’ll hike through the preserve, learn about Florida native plants, wildlife, and local ecosystems, and discuss environmental issues currently affecting our community. We’ll specifically talk about Pinellas County budget cuts and Amendment 3, what they could mean for our local environment, and ways residents can get involved and advocate for our wild spaces.

Come hike, learn, meet other environmentally minded people, and leave with tangible ways to take action!
