Weeding and Reading | Garden Maintenance Day

Calling all garden volunteers! Save the date for Saturday, Nov. 23, for "Weeding and Reading," a garden maintenance day where we also fellowship over literature.

From 9:30-10:30 AM, we'll be "putting the gardens to bed" for the winter -- meaning, we'll do some final weeding, and add another layer of mulch to both garden beds. Then from 11:00-12:00, we'll gather at Booeymonger for the first meeting of our garden reading group! The reading we'll be discussing is Robin Wall Kimmerer's chapter "Asters and Goldenrod," from her book Braiding Sweetgrass. You can download the reading here.

Please bring your own gardening gloves. Light bites and coffee will be provided at Booeymonger.
