Forest Bathing offers a systematic series of invitations in the forest to slow down, engage fully with the senses, step away from distractions and step into a powerful connection with the land, community and the self. Join us on this 5-session journey to see what magic and transformation will unfold when we show up again and again.

JULY 3RD: CROSSING THE THRESHOLD

Step gently into the process of forest bathing and place by awakening the senses and slowing down.

JULY 31ST: STEPPING INTO WONDER

Wander and be with the same place in different ways that can lead us to wonderment and relation.

AUGUST 28TH: DEEPENING CONNECTION

Notice how the practice of forest bathing cultivates deep connections with the land, community and the self.

SEPTEMBER 25TH: REWILIDING THE HEART

Find yourself reclaiming your place in the wild heart of nature and remembering a sense of wholeness.

OCTOBER 23RD: REMEMBERING OUR PLACE

Celebrate our time together with acts of reciprocity and ceremony to honor how place becomes part of us.

Prior to each session you will receive an email reminder along with ponderings to prepare you for the theme of the upcoming session.

Christiane Hinterman of RootedHeart LLC is a life-long nature professional with a Bachelors in Recreation and a Masters in Environmental Education. She is a Certified Interpretive Guide, Certified Yoga Instructor, and a Certified Forest and Nature Therapy Guide. She is passionate about facilitating opportunities for human beings and communities to connect deeply with themselves and nature in transformative ways.

Investment of $120 for all 5 sessions to be paid via Venmo to @Christiane-Hinterman or email Christiane at [email protected] to arrange paying by cash or check. Please register yourself here first on Eventbrite and then follow up with payment.

All sessions will begin at Round Meadows Trailhead and will require a short walk into the forest. We will be walking slowly over uneven terrain and sitting or standing for extended amounts of time.

Sessions will begin at 5:30pm and end at 8pm

Cancellation Policy: We will be out in the elements and immerse in whatever nature provides, however if RootedHearts cancels due to inclement weather or otherwise, we will either reschedule a session or you will receive a refund for that date.

If you need to cancel you must do so one week before the first session to receive a full refund.

• Access to use Round Meadows is granted under a special use permit with the Tally
  Lake Ranger District of the Flathead National Forest.
• Children ages 12-18 are welcome to join with a legal adult guardian present.
