August 14: Don Lyons – Join Don, the Director of Conservation Science for Audubon’s Seabird Institute, who will provide an update on the development of wind energy in the Gulf of Maine and the efforts of the Seabird Institute to minimize impacts on Maine’s seabirds. Nesting puffins, terns, and other seabird species have been tracked in recent years to better understand the areas of the Gulf that are most important.Wednesday Night Lecture Series will be held every Wednesday from July 3rd to August 21st, 2024, beginning at 5:00pm, at the Project Puffin Visitor Center, 311 Main St, Rockland, ME, 04841.
