Wednesday Night Blues at Charly's

The NAZBA Wednesday Night Blues Jam at Charly's begins the 2025 season on January 8th with multi-instrumentalist Garry Segal from Cottonwood! A talented player and entertainer who always gives the crowd something to enjoy! January 15 features Big Daddy D Darryl Porras on guitar making the trek up from PHX! A consummate guitarist combining old school blues sounds with today's modern feel. There's a lot to take in when you listen to what he does with six strings! Sitting in for Dr. Bob (who is out the next three weeks) is Rob Church from Flagstaff who plays regularly with the Dennis Herrera Band. January 22 brings Chuck Hall up from PHX! Chuck has a long resume in Flagstaff and is one of Phoenix's most popular Blues guitarist! Joining up with Chuck and also from the PHX area is drummer Janet Daniel! January 29 from Flagstaff is none other than the Mother Road Band with Sammy Mac on harmonica and vocals Larry Cznarecki on guitar and vocals and George Erickson on the drums! Roger Smith will be holding down the the bass corner as usual! After the first set we invite any jammers up to play and ask that you please bring a small amp and/or mic for a quick setup.
