An indoor golf venue doesn’t sound like a natural bedfellow to a group of quiet people reading together but wait until you see the trees and fairy lights and water features, oh and crocodiles and feel like you’ve been whisked far away from the bright lights (grey drizzle) of the city centre to this hidden gem.
Accessible venue.
School holiday proof too as you can get some great deals on the golf for the kids as you relax in relative peace and read.
Just respond with “going” to this event if you’d like to come along. There’s no membership process, just tell us you intend in coming and turn up on the day with your book.
READING STARTS at 10.30 for an hour but I will be there from around 10am to say ‘hello’ if you want to turn up earlier and settle in and grab a seat.
There’s no charge to join us but our kind hosts allowing us to get together here provide hot and cold drinks, loads of great lunch ideas and hot food.
