Wednesday evening social paddle
About this Event
Our Wednesday Night Social Paddles are a relaxed, friendly way to reconnect with the river, the club, and each other after a long day.
We meet at the Clubhouse from 5:30pm, with the aim of launching by 6:00pm. Where we paddle depends on the tide and the weather - sometimes we head upriver toward Canterbury, other nights we drift down toward Botany Bay, with occasional explorations into Wolli Creek, Muddy Creek, or the Alexandria Canal.
These paddles are weather-dependent and run when a lead paddler is available. Updates and go/no-go decisions are shared via our Facebook page and WhatsApp group, so keep an eye out on the day.
You’ll need to be a current club member (full annual or four-week trial) to join in, and we ask that you let the lead paddlers know your swimming ability before heading out.
