Wednesday evening - Live Sanskrit Mantra Immersion
About this Event
Join us for a transformative evening at Anomalous Space where we immerse ourselves in the healing power of Vedic Sanskrit Mantras. Let the ancient vibrations of these sacred sounds awaken your inner truth, bringing peace and harmony to your mind, body, and spirit.
Invoking the cosmic energy of ABUNDANCE & PROSPERITY: Krupa will chant the Sri Suktam as well as a japa of the Lakṣmī Gāyatrī mantra - connecting us to the sustaining order behind both material and spiritual well-being. In this immersive experience, the resonance of these particular sacred mantras, allows us to tune into the energies of balance, wisdom, and abundance. Whether you seek material success, spiritual growth, or simply inner harmony, this session will help you awaken to the deeper currents of life’s blessings. The practice offers an opportunity to align with the Vedic vision of abundance — not as possession, but as harmony with dharma (cosmic order).
The evening is facilitated by South Asian, London born Vedic mantra teacher Krupa, a dedicated student of a living South Indian lineage—one of the few that continues to uphold the precise recitation needed to preserve the authentic sound of the Vedas. Guided by her mentors, Krupa continues her studies while also sharing this sacred practice through teaching and listening experiences.
These intimate in-person listening experiences offer an accessible introduction to authentic Sanskrit mantra recitation. At Ancient Vibrations we uphold and encourage the tradition of sitting upright to receive the mantras, however for many new to these vibrations the first step is simply letting the sound in which is why attendees at our immersions are also able to lay down or use a chair in order to support their listening experience.
You do not need to intellectually understand the words for the mantra to have an effect, the vibration itself is the meaning. The chanting will be supported by a gentle 432Hz soundscape (created by our practitioner) which is often used to help calm our nervous system.
We begin the evening with welcoming Ayuverdic 'pink' tea & a homemade south asian vegan snack. Yoga matts, cushions and blankets will also be provided however you are encouraged to bring your own for maximum comfort.
We can't wait to share these ancient coded mantras with you.

We are often asked: The difference between Kirtan & Vedic Sanskrit Mantras?
Kirtan is a devotional practice rooted in Bhakti (devotional) expression, and is later in origin than the Vedic system. It involves the repetition of divine names set to melodic, adaptable music, creating an immediate experience of shared devotion.
Vedic mantra comes from an ancient oral tradition known as śruti “that which is heard”. It was revealed to ancient seers / sages (ṛṣis) and preserved with extraordinary precision across thousands of years in order to maintain its power and efficacy.
It is a precise sound technology transmitted through lineage. Every nuance is carefully maintained to preserve its power and potency. The sound itself is transformative and the subtle vibration continues to work through the system - even after the mantra has been heard or chanted.
Today, people are returning to this ancient practice for its ongoing ability to support clarity, emotional steadiness, spiritual growth & inner wisdom.
