WEDNESDAY ACRO JAM - Wednesdays 7:15pm in the Strickler Hall at First Lutheran Church, 1301 Colley Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23517. SHARE & INVITE! PARKING: FREE Parking lot in the back. The STUDIO is located off Colley Avenue. Red Door. Look for sign.
WHATS-A-HAPPENING? Acro Yoga, Partner Yoga, Guided Instruction, Handstands, Flow Arts, Lifts, and Shenanigans. Come by yourself or bring tons of friends!
WHAT IS ACRO YOGA? Take the techniques of Yoga, add the fun of Acrobatics, toss in dash of balance, a tad of strength, and heaping helping of laughs and smiles... you get ACRO YOGA. The Acro Yoga poses and flows will help develop confidence & coordination in various techniques: L-base, Standing, Lifts, Counterbalances.
Acro Yoga is for everybody and every body and every skill level - Beginners through Advanced. Safety always first.
ACRO YOGA 101 BEGINNER LESSONS: No Experience? NO PROBLEM! We will be happy to show you the basics and get you hooked into the fun activities. You will be shown the basics of the “AcroYoga 101: Beginners Flow”. This will immerse you in the joys and fun of Acro. Be careful, you may get hooked. Start stretching your hamstrings.
FLOW ARTS JAMS: Bring your poi, batons, juggling, staffs and any other flow arts to share.
Bring yoga mats, water, snacks to share, cushions, cameras, towel, ideas, and smiles. Hang out, fly or base, stretch, chill, laugh, observe, learn some cool stuff & most importantly HAVE FUN!
