The PTA invites you to the annual school carnival on Saturday, March 8th from 10 am until 2 pm. There will be games, inflatables, affordable food, a silent auction and more, including the popular Reptile Ranch. $10 punch cards or $20 wristbands, giving you unlimited access to most activities, will be sold the day of the carnival.The PTA is holding a student art contest for art to be used in this year's carnival flyers. Artwork may be in any format and can be submitted to the school office through February 10th. We request that no wording be added to the artwork, this will be added during flyer production. The winning design will win a carnival wristband. Please include the student's name, grade and homeroom teacher on the back of your art.
The PTA is also seeking silent auction, drink and cake donations and volunteers for the event. More information and links are attached in your email.
Silent Auction Items - The PTA is seeking items or experiences from teachers, businesses, organizations and other amazing people, for the silent auction. All donations are welcome but here are some ideas of things that could be donated: game tickets to a local sporting event; a gift basket for moms, dads, snackers, sports enthusiasts, etc.; gift cards; memberships; jewelry sets; anything else you can think of that someone might enjoy. Donations will be accepted in the school office through February 21st. Your donation is tax deductible and a signed form will be provided at drop off. Drinks - The PTA is seeking drink donations of 24-pks of water or 12-pks of standard sized cans of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite or Starry, Dr. Pepper and Sunkist. Each student will get awarded 5 Timberbucks for their donation (limit one award per student). Donations will be accepted in the school office until February 28th. For your convenience, drink donations may be dropped off in the car rider line at morning drop off on Fridays starting February 7th and ending February 28th. You do not need to sign up ahead of time for this donation.
Cakes - The PTA is seeking small to medium cakes and pastries for the cake walk. Each student will get awarded 5 Timberbucks for their donation (limit one award per student). Due to the perishable nature of sweets, donations will only be accepted March 7th and may be dropped off during office hours. Volunteers - The PTA is also seeking volunteers for the carnival and the days leading up to it. Each volunteer will receive a free meal ticket at the carnival in return for their time.
