Westie Evolution Boston is proud to present: April Pain Brings May Gains! Instead of April Showers, let's get to work and improve our technique, style, and dance so that we can achieve our May Gains ("Flowers") and be even better dancers heading into the spring. PLUS, special guest DJ, John Collini, is joining us for the evening! From 8-9pm we will run two simultaneous lessons:If you're new to West Coast Swing or want to refresh your basics, join Rohit Venugopal in his beginner lesson.
If you're looking to boost your West Coast Swing, join Leo Cook and Jessie Rosenberg in their intermediate lesson where they will provide us with some awesome drills to keep our dance skills sharp.
Then let's dance together with our amazing guest DJ: John Collini, aka 4ier, who will be spinning amazing tunes and keep us dancing all night long!
SCHEDULE:
7:45pm: Doors Open
8-9pm: Lessons
9pm-Midnight: Social Dance
PRICING:
Lesson & Dance: $20 ($15 for Students, Seniors 65+, and WSDC All Stars)
Dance Only: $15 ($10 for Students, Seniors 65+, and WSDC All Stars)
Payment Method: cash or venmo
PARKING/TRANSPORTATION:
Public transit info: Commuter rail: take the Fitchburg line and get off at Waltham station. Be aware the last inbound train leaves Waltham at 10:04
Bus: Take the MBTA 70 bus from University Park (Kendall Square), get off at Carter St @ Waltham Commuter Rail Station. There is an inbound bus that leaves at 11:29 PM.
If the train or bus schedules don’t quite work with our hours, we recommend getting there early and eating dinner on Moody Street, which has an excellent variety of restaurants!
For those driving, parking is available in any of the nearby public parking lots and is free after 6pm (Walnut or Chestnut Street). Otherwise, there is street parking.
