Schedule

UTC+01:00Location
Queen Street Mill Textile Museum | Burnley, EN
In the fourth or fifth weaving workshops, participants will delve into the fascinating world of textile creation, and learn about the weaving process from start to finish. From the initial steps of crafting the warp to the intricate process of setting up the loom, each stage offers a hands-on experience that culminates in the creation of a unique textile piece. Whether it's a cozy neck warmer, stylish table mats, or an artistic wall hanging, these workshops provide a wonderful opportunity to weave together skills and creativity. Participants in these workshops may benefit from completing one or more of the previous workshops in this series. As you progress through the workshops, you'll not only refine your weaving skills but also have the opportunity to create a unique piece of woven art. These workshops are also a wonderful way to connect with fellow weaving enthusiasts, exchange ideas, and perhaps even weave new friendships along the way. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, these sessions are suitable for all.
£20 per person - booking required.
You can choose whether to just attend one and get as far as you can with your project and finish at home, or you can book on both and have guidance and advice to finish the whole project.
