Weaving With World Religions

Join us on the First Sunday of every month for a contemplative journey through the sacred texts and wisdom traditions of the world. Like the Spiritual Center as a whole, this is a space free of dogma and religious rigidity, where each person is trusted to find their own truth.
Unlike an academic setting, this will be a time for contemplative practice and the integration of new meaning into our daily lives. Honest discussion and questions are always welcome.
Over the year we’ll encounter, for example, a passage from Buddhist scripture, a teaching of Jesus, a poem by Rumi, a philosophical insight from Confucius or Socrates, among many others. Sitting deeply with such texts is a tried and true transformational spiritual practice.
Come deepen your own journey in the company of others doing the same.
Guided by Ian Mevorach, CSSC’s founding director, who holds a Ph.D. in Theology & Ethics and has spent years facilitating interfaith dialogue and contemplative practice.
