Before going on this year's New Zealand Foraging and Growing Tour (spreading Natural Intelligence "NI" tour) I'm doing a day of unique seasonal workshops in Christchurch at our lovely Richmond Community Gardens! for all 3 workshops we meet up close to the riverlution ecohub (or close to the cafe! (if it s easier to orient by it, it is the same area).
Come for one workshop or the whole day, please bring some healthy food platter for everyone to enjoy or something simple and healthy to drink and your cuppa. it ll keep us all going the whole day ❤
From 10:15am we start with the Sun drying workshop:
I will be showing a fun & unusual way of sun-drying fruit from the Red Zone (which can be used for vegetables from your garden too) adjusted to the Christchurch environment that any of us can do. Out of natural and recycled materials at hand with zero cost and no impact on the
From 2pm we will be doing a Water bottle/plant holder weaving out of plants workshop. and from 5:30pm Weaving bracelets out of flax/harakeke. all workshops are unique and practical
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of weaving with flax/harakeke and what other plants can be used to craft your own unique arm or shoulder bracelets. It's a perfect blend of nature, creativity, and practicality.
Please allow enough time to immerse into the workshop with no rush"

From this year on I'm asking for a symbolical 20$ per person per workshop, children and animals are free.
