Weave An Easter Basket On A Round Wooden Slotted Base
Yes, that’s a mouthful but if you are ready for a completely new style of basket weaving, this is your class. Or, if you are a really intrepid beginner this is also the class for you. The wooden base makes this basket sturdier, stronger and perfect for so many uses. Several weaving styles are used including chase weaving, twining, start and stop and maybe even the three rod wale. The entire basket can be stained to fit your décor and reeds in a variety of colors will be available. Plenty of individual attention will be given so students will complete this project in one class.
March 21 at United Church of Christ in Keene, 10 – 3pm. Our class will be in the Dining Room, accessible only through the back of the church off the Vernon St. Parking lot. Use the entrance closest to the playground.
