About this Event

Join us at Greater Nexus in Jamaica, Queens on September 12, 2026 at 1:30 PM for Wearable Stories: Youth Community Couture, a fashion and textile showcase led by designer and educator Monique “Mo” Glover.

This special event highlights a collection of garments inspired by drawings and ideas from Queens youth designers, transforming their creativity into wearable art during New York Fashion Week. Through workshops and community collaboration, youth storytelling and design come to life on the runway and in the exhibition space.

Come celebrate the next generation of designers and experience how fashion, art, and community come together through wearable stories.
