If you're not running, please join us as a volunteer on the wear blue Tribute Mile.
We are in need of 150 volunteers, one for each fallen hero along our Tribute Mile, to hold American flags bearing their names and to cheer on the runners, transforming the Mile into a living memorial.
Every single flag, every single name, represents a life of immense value and a legacy that deserves to be cherished and remembered.
- What: wear blue Tribute Mile
- When: Saturday, April 25, 2026
*Volunteer Check-in: 6:00 am CDT
*Ends approximately: 12 noon CDT
- Where: Corner of James Robertson Parkway & 3rd Avenue North, by the Circuit Clerk Court
* Please allow extra time for travel in case of any delays.
- What to Expect: Stand together with other volunteers, each holding an American flag with the name of a fallen service member. Together, we create a living memorial of hope and remembrance, honoring their lives, sharing their stories, and making sure no hero is forgotten.
- Who: Everyone is welcome!
*This is a family-friendly event for volunteers of all ages and abilities, and it’s free to join. We’ll provide wear blue shirts, coffee, and light refreshments. We invite you to bring your family, friends, and coworkers along.

* We’ll meet in the parking lot on Broadway.
*When you register with wear blue, you’ll receive all race weekend details, including parking, check-in instructions, and volunteer guidance, as the event approaches.
