Greetings Darkmoon,Coming up on May 30th will be our local Weaponmaster tournament. It will consist of the following categories:
Single short weapon
Short weapon and medium or smaller shield
Florentine (two short weapons)
Open (any legal melee equipment combination)
Sign ups will begin at noon and close promptly at 1, so please plan accordingly. The tournament will begin very shortly thereafter with all equipment being checked at the tournament start. You miss weapon checks, you can't participate.
The exact format will be dependent on the number of total fighters participating. (I'll explain each of these in the comments below)
12 or less fighters, it will do 3 rounds of swiss pairing, followed by a cut to top 4 single elimination.
13-16 fighters will be double elimination brackets.
More than 16 fighters, will be 15 minutes of bear pit, followed by a single elimination bracket of the top 8.
