About Altamar:
Altamar Foundation, Inc., is a movement of Latina and diverse women philanthropists committed to supporting under-supported and underrepresented grassroots organizations in Lawrence, MA.
Altamar's mission is to support positive change through grantmaking and scholarships, contribute to a more just and equitable community and support philanthropic opportunities for women in Lawrence, MA.
Their vision is to ultimately challenge the landscape and inequities in philanthropy thus creating a pathway for more equitable change by:
Educating and building a movement of women philanthropists to support local grassroots NPO's.
Equitable investing in local grassroots nonprofits through trust-based philanthropy practices.
Building civic power for and with young women to create a future pipeline of women in philanthropy.
