All tickets are just £6 and include entry into our free-to-enter BIG MOVIE QUIZ before every film at 7pm, or just come along for the film at 8pm.
___________
ROBOCOP
In a crime-ridden near-future Detroit, police officer Alex Murphy is brutally murdered in the line of duty, only to be reborn as RoboCop — a powerful cybernetic law enforcement machine created by the sinister Omni Consumer Products corporation. As RoboCop begins cleaning up the city’s violent streets, fragments of Murphy’s former life slowly resurface, forcing him to confront the humanity buried beneath the steel and programming.
Paul Verhoeven’s RoboCop is far more than an explosive sci-fi action film — it’s a razor-sharp satire of corporate greed, media culture, and authoritarian excess, wrapped in one of the most entertaining and influential blockbusters of the 1980s. By turns thrilling, violent, darkly funny, and surprisingly emotional, it remains a landmark of modern science fiction cinema.
