We The Free: What Veganism Solves

Join us for "We The Free: What Veganism Solves" where Reese and Clementine Maldonado share why veganism is a core tenet of animal rights and advocacy.
What’s the deal with veganism? Whether you’re interested in the moral, environmental, or health concerns veganism addresses, we should all be aware of where our food comes from. Attendees will learn about:
- The uncomfortable relationship between meat and slaughter
- Why eggs, milk, and honey aren’t considered vegan
- How veganism is good for the planet and you
- Debunking mis/disinformation
Stay for the frank discussion about veganism without judgement.
Wichita Oasis is a non-religious community for people to come together to connect, be inspired, and feel empowered. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings and programming may include featured speakers, live local musicians, potlucks, service projects, game days, and more. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation. For more information, find us at wichitaoasis.org
Kid’s Room. Two experienced and background-checked adults are ready to help make your child's experience at Wichita Oasis as fun and engaging as the main program.
Extension Room. For older kids and adults who don't require supervision but are not interested in the main program, the Extension Room offers a separate space to connect, play, create, and explore. Two background-checked adults will be there hanging out, so you'll never be alone. Feel free to bring a game, craft, book, or other activity to enjoy by yourself or with others.
