A Call to all Legionnaires and Comrades in Arms
Western Michigan University invites members of the American Legion, VFW, and the greater community to join in solemn tribute to those who gave all on 9/11. On Saturday, September 13, 2025, for a Silent Climb—a powerful act of remembrance, reflection, and unity.

This event honors the fallen and uplifts the living. Proceeds support WMU’s military-connected students through:
• WMU Veterans and Dependents Scholarship
A needs-based scholarship for active duty, veterans, and their dependents.
• Emergency Relief Fund – Office of Military and Veterans Affairs
Micro-grants and loans that remove financial barriers for student veterans during times of crisis.
