About this Event

We Read Shakespeare is a relaxed monthly social group for people who would like to meet others, and read Shakespeare aloud together.

For our first event on Monday 26 October, we’ll be reading Act 1 of Hamlet. We’ll read part of the act, take a short interval, then finish the act before having an informal group chat about what we’ve read.

There’s no pressure to perform and absolutely no expertise required. Take a character, share a smaller role or simply come along and listen. The aim is good company and an enjoyable evening.
