We Hike to Heal - Pennsylvania, FREE Women's Group Hike

We'll be hiking the Ridley Creek Park Yellow Trail which is a 4.5 mile trail. This is a easy hike with beautiful views at the top. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!

This trail is estimated to be mostly gentle (5% or less), with some moderately steep (5-8%) and steep (8-12%) sections that may require assistance or need to be avoided.

The trail surface is paved asphalt, smooth, and typically at least 6 feet wide.

We'll plan to take a break to catch our breath, enjoy the view and do a little gratitude journaling!

According to the website, the paved Area 17 parking lot off Ridley Creek State Park Road at the southeast end of the trail has 2 designated van-accessible spaces with striped access aisles.

Restroom Facilities: Bathroom on premises

What you will need for this hike:

• Plenty of water to drink! (we recommend at least 1-3 liters)
• Sunblock and/or hat to protect you from the sun
• Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers
• Comfortable moisture-wicking clothing - workout clothes work just fine!
• A daypack/backpack to carry all your items
• A towel to sit on if you're uncomfortable sitting on the ground
• Your journal and a pen
