We Hike To Heal - Morristown NJ FREE Women's Group Hike #2

We'll be hiking the Blue Outer Loop Trail at Jockey Hollow National Park. This is a easy to moderate hike. The trail wanders though the woods and includes a pond, a lookout and several benches. This time of year we may see early spring foliage. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!

Along the trail hiking, we'll plan to take a break to catch our breath, maybe do some yoga stretches and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature!

Location/Directions: New York Brigade Trailhead Parking Lot Jockey Hollow Rd, Morristown, NJ 07960 (Take Western Ave out of Morristown to get to the park. The parking lot is on the left after you enter the park.)

Difficulty level/Distance: 2.9 miles Easy - Moderate difficulty

Restroom Facilities: Yes

What you will need for this hike:

• Plenty of water to drink!
• Snacks if desired
• Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers
• Comfortable moisture wicking clothing - workout clothes work just fine!
• Bug Spray (Optional)
• Walking Stick for stream crossing (Optional)
• A daypack/backpack to carry all your items

This event is for women identified folks 18 and older only.
