We Hike to Heal Free Women's Hike + Journaling and Meditation - Smyrna

Join us for a Women's hike series for the long weekend! Each Day a new location and trail.

Time: 10 AM

Friday: Blue Ball Barn - Wilmington DE

Saturday: Middle Run Valley Park - Newark, DE

Sunday: Blackbird State Forest - Smyrna DE

This Sunday We will hike the Tybout Tract Trail within Blackbird State Forest. This is a 2.1 mile trail with an estimate of 1 hour of walking time.

This is a moderate unpaved hike with beautiful views. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!

This is an easy meditative walk where we will practice mindfulness throughout the hike.

Time: 10:00 a.m (please be punctual!)

Parking: On-site parking just before the trailhead (no parking fees) (we encourage carpooling!)

Difficulty level/Distance: EASY/ 2.1 Miles

Restroom Facilities: There may be port-o-potties at the trailhead.

What you will need for this hike:

• Plenty of water to drink! (we recommend at least 1-3 liters)
• Hat to stay warm and protect you from the sun
• Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers
• Comfortable moisture wicking clothing - workout clothes work just fine!
• A daypack/backpack to carry all your items
