We Hike to Heal - Atlanta, FREE Women's Group SUNSET Hike

We'll be hiking at Sweetwater Creek State Park, which is a 3 mile trail just 18 miles west of Downtown Atlanta. This is a easy hike with a beautiful river following us along the way. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!

Once we reach a good midway point, we'll plan to take a break to catch our breath, enjoy the view and do a little gratitude journaling!

Time: 6:00pm (please be punctual!)

Location/Directions: 1750 Mt Vernon Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122

Parking: $5 State Park Fee (we encourage carpooling or public transportation)

Difficulty level/Distance: EASY/3 miles

Restroom Facilities: Located at Visitor Center (only)

What you will need for this hike:

• Plenty of water to drink! (we recommend at least 1-3 liters)
• Sunblock and/or hat to protect you from the sun
• Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers
• Comfortable moisture wicking clothing - workout clothes work just fine!
• A daypack/backpack to carry all your items
• A towel to sit on if you're uncomfortable sitting on the ground
• Your journal and a pen
