The Contemporary Art Modern Project is pleased to announce an artist talk for our annual fiber exhibition, 77 Women Pulling at The Threads of Social Discourse, FAMA and Guests: We Got The Power. in conversation October 19, from 2 to 5pm.
This panel will feature CAMP artists Laetitia Adam-Rabel and Kim Moore, whose work is currently on display at our gallery for Women Pulling at the Threads of Social Discourse. The panelists will be anchoring their discussion around the exhibition, exploring its themes and sharing their experiences as women and artists navigating the constantly evolving art world.
LAETITIA ADAM-RABEL
b. Haiti
Laetitia “Laeti” Adam-Rabel is a Haitian-American artist who lives in Miami, Florida. She is a wife and mother to a toddler girl, with whom she often collaborates on art projects. Laeti studied Fashion Design at Parsons in New York and received her Bachelor of Science in Art Education at Florida International University. She uses various media to address social and personal issues like climate change, blackness, feminism, inclusion, and her role as a new mother in creating a better world. She uses painting, textile arts, photography, videography, and sound art to portray beauty, while conveying her sometimes painful emotions. Laeti is a lifelong learner who seeks to discover something new from every encounter.

KIM MOORE
b. Virginia, USA
Kimberly Moore is a self-taught artist whose works are rooted in classicism combined with modern abstraction. Known for her vibrant use of color and dynamic compositions, Moore explores themes of identity, emotion, and transformation. Her pieces often evoke a sense of movement and depth, inviting viewers to engage with both the physical and emotional layers of her art. With a background in both fine arts and graphic design, Moore brings a multifaceted approach to her creative practice, blending traditional techniques with modern aesthetics.

ROSA HENRIQUEZ
b. Dominican Republic
Rosa Henriquez is a Dominican-born artist whose creative journey began in a family of artists and makers. Inspired by her mother's watercolor painting and her aunts' talents in sewing and dressmaking, Rosa's artistic path was deeply influenced by her upbringing. It wasn’t until the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 that she fully embraced her own creativity, starting with watercolor painting. Since then, she has expanded her practice to include acrylics, mixed media, and fiber art, with a focus on landscapes, botanicals, structures, and portraits. Based in South Florida, Rosa draws inspiration from the vibrant, multicultural environment around her, exploring themes of nature, culture, and identity through her art.
