We Get It Step by Step Walk

Introducing the Step by Step Walk - a chance for our community members - old and new - to come together and share memories of those who have died.
We'll gather for a beautiful, easy-paced five mile walk along the scenic river path from Bath Boathouse to the Riverside Pub and back.
THE DATE: Sunday 12th April 2026
THE TIME: 10am
THE MEETING PLACE: Bath Boathouse, Newbridge Road, Bath BA1 3NB

The Bath Boathouse has a car park. There is also parking in the adjacent Park and Ride at Newbridge.

Don't want to walk? The first six people to book their seat can catch a lift up the river on our ambassador Leigh's boat! These six tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.

Enjoy a refreshing drink and snack at the halfway point, with the option to stay for a tasty meal at Bath Boathouse when we return.

Let’s come together and celebrate our community.

Please ensure you wear footwear suitable for walking and dress appropriately for the weather, including bringing waterproof layers should they be required.

£5 entry for each person taking part. Midway drink and snacks on us, meal at the Boathouse to be paid for by you.

By signing up for this walk, you confirm you agree to the following terms and conditions:

*All entrants must ensure they are fit to complete the Step by Step Walk and are responsible for their own medical condition.

*All entrants must ensure they wear the appropriate footwear and clothing for the walk.

*We Get It reserves the right to cancel this event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.

*In no event shall We Get It be liable for any injuries, loss or damages whatsoever, including indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential losses connected with any aspect of this event.

*By joining the event, you consent to photos/video footage being taken and used in our promotion of the event, both during and after the event day, including on our website. If you do not want your image to be used, please contact Dee Gerrish at [email protected].

*Young Person(s) (up to 16 years) must be accompanied by a responsible Adult. That Adult must be registered to attend the event.

*Accompanying Adults shall take full responsibility for the Young Person(s) that they are accompanying and must stay with their Young Person(s) at all times during the event.

*Missing Participants/Medical/Child Protection – if at any point during the activity you have concerns about a missing participant, child safety or medi​c​al enquiry, please call 111 or 999 directly.

*Emergency Procedures: we follow the Run – Hide – Tell advice in line with the Government’s own policy. If any major incident occurs, please do follow this advice.
