We Are Blind - Single Launch

Since the release of Darkyra's third album, Life Force, the Perth Epic Metallers have shown a lot of promise reintroducing themselves to not only their hometown but to the rest of world. Not an easy task given the 8 year hiatus away from writing and performing. 2024 was their return performing as the opener at Metal United Downunder at the Milkbar as a six piece band with keys and violin, spectacular both sonicly and visually. This year the focus has been on writing and the overeall vision for future growth. Their performance earlier this year at Magnet House, where they supported Finnish Power Metal band, Battle Beast was a testament to that.

We are Blind,
It's a traditional style symphonic composition, co-written by vocalist Gina Bafile (Darkyra) and guitarist Krissy Sanfead (Parabelum), Krissy performed as part of Darkyra 2024, the two of them have been friends and music colleauges for close to two decades.

With all Darkyra's songs there's alway a strong underlying message. This one's about humankind turning a blind eye to everything that matters. It's a warning that there might not be anything good left to pass on to the children of the future.
Regarding the performance, since this track combines two bands, Krissy and Mick will be performing 'We Are Blind' with Darkyra. Their band Parabelum will perform their own special set of Melodic Metal compositions.
