Join Friends of Mill Ridge Park to remove invasive species at the park as a part of the national W**d Wrangle® event. This is accomplished via hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants. Supervised by volunteer leaders in invasive W**d management, participants can expect to learn about effective removal techniques and replanting with native species alternatives while having fun.
W**d Wrangle®, is a one-day, citywide, volunteer effort to help rescue our public parks and green spaces from invasive species through hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines and flowering plants.
