W**d Wrangle 2026 - Bear Creek Nature Trail

Saturday, March 7, 2026, 9 am - 12 pm: Join the City of Winter Springs, Central Florida CISMA, and SERV in the W**d Wrangle®! W**d Wrangle is a “one-day, area-wide, volunteer effort to help rescue our public parks and green spaces from non-native invasive species through hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants”. This FREE activity is for volunteers of all ages. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes. Long pants, long sleeves, and a hat/other head covering (to prevent seeds from getting stuck in hair) are also recommended. Sun protection and bug protection may be desired.

We will be working at Bear Creek Nature Trail, 1535 Winter Springs Blvd, Winter Springs, FL 32708. Each volunteer must have a printed, signed liability form to turn in upon arrival: youth version (under 18) or adult version.
