Keynote Speakers
Dr. Cristyn Watkins, MD
Founder, aNu Aesthetics & Optimal Wellness
Dr. Cristyn Watkins is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with additional certifications in Integrative, Functional, Metabolic, and Nutrition Medicine. She’s the founder and medical director of aNu Aesthetics™ and Optimal Wellness, where she leads a team committed to helping patients achieve vibrant health and natural beauty—inside and out.
With over 15 years of experience and multiple locations in Kansas City, Dr. Watkins is known for her innovative, personalized approach to advanced aesthetics, regenerative therapies, and whole-body wellness. As both a physician and a patient, she’s deeply passionate about helping others feel their best—because she’s lived through the journey herself.
Dr. Lynette Sparkman-Barnes
Clinical Psychologist, the Associate Director, and the Multicultural Specialist at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Counseling and Educational Support Services
Dr. Lynette Sparkman-Barnes (she/her/hers) is proud to serve as a Clinical Psychologist, the Associate Director, and the Multicultural Specialist at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Counseling and Educational Support Services, as well as a Psychologist and Multicultural Specialist with The University of Kansas Health System’s Professional Wellbeing Center. Her educational and clinical training is rooted in treating, serving and connecting with all populations across a broad spectrum.
Dr. Sparkman-Barnes earned a BA in Psychology from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago, IL, completing her post-Doctoral training in the rural communities of West Virginia. Dr. Sparkman-Barnes has devoted her career to a personal and professional commitment of working with underrepresented and underserved populations. She’s served in a variety of settings, including Universities, Community Mental Health Centers, School-based Mental Health Organizations, Churches, Non-Profits, and Private Practice, impacting systems as a clinician, professor, program developer, manager, consultant, and in various administrative leadership roles. She is an often-sought presenter in the areas of Mental Health, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Social Justice, and the interface of Psychology and Theology. Her research and publications have been in the area of mental health within educational settings, particularly related to empowering and ensuring the success of historically excluded learners. Dr. Sparkman-Barnes also is an ordained minister, with her spiritual practice and leadership expanding nation-wide.
Dr. Sparkman-Barnes combines a strategic mindset with an empathic approach to successfully collaborate with leaders across the community. Her goal is to help strengthen the foundation for all people to find power in their voices and their identities. Dr. Sparkman-Barnes welcomes everyone to join her in this journey to recognize and value all aspects of diversity as an integral part of our growth and success as humans, connectors, and leaders, particularly as we foster truly healthy communities among ourselves and among those we serve.

Hannah Williams, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist, Providence Medical Center
Hannah Williams earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Mary and has specialized training in a variety of treatment techniques including dry needling and in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Hannah has experience with treating a variety of conditions including orthopedic, sports injuries, vestibular conditions, and neurological disorders. Her interest in pelvic floor physical therapy originated during her clinical rotations when an instructor introduced her to the disparity in women’s health and pelvic floor treatment which is especially prevalent in more rural areas. This led Hannah to pursue a certification in pelvic floor therapy through Herman and Wallace Rehabilitation Institute. She has experience with a broad spectrum of pelvic floor conditions and dysfunction and understands the importance of addressing both psychosocial and orthopedic contributions to pelvic floor dysfunction.
Megan Wickey, PT, DPT
Pelvic Floor Therapist, Providence Medical Center
Megan Wickey, DPT is a physical therapist with Providence Medical Center Rehabilitative Services department. She has specialized training in helping women with pelvic health and pelvic floor dysfunction. Megan received her Doctor of Physical therapy from Rockhurst University in 2012. She has experience in treating orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular conditions. Her interest grew in pelvic floor therapy from her own experience with treatment after her twin pregnancy. She has received extensive post graduate education in pelvic floor therapy, including over 70 hours of continuing education in this area through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Megan is well versed in the biomechanical nature of pelvic floor dysfunction and understands the psychosocial implications of pelvic floor dysfunction. She is excited to be able to work with you to improve your quality of life.

Johnessia Jones, LCSW
Convergence Counseling Services, LLC
Johnessia is native of Kansas City, MO, born into a big family, raised by a school teacher and a pastor. She earned a Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2012, and worked as a medical social worker for 12 years.
Convergence Counseling Services uses a holistic approach to achieve wellness of the mind. Johnessia offers a safe zone for exploring life’s challenges and will collaborate with you to develop tools for managing during difficult times. She can help you to break barriers, end generational cycles, cope with illness, and heal the inner self.
