The Whitin Community Center is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved annual event, Picnic In The Park, to be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the expansive and beautiful Whitin Park, 60 Main Street, Whitinsville, MA 01588. Spanning 7.5 acres of lush green space, Whitin Park will play host to a day filled with fun, food, and festivities for the entire family from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.
This year’s free, family-friendly event promises to be an unforgettable day for community members of all ages. Attendees can look forward to a diverse array of vendors showcasing the best our community has to offer, from handmade crafts to local services and more. Food enthusiasts will be delighted by the assortment of food trucks serving up delicious eats and treats throughout the day.
The event will feature live entertainment, including performances from local talent. For those seeking a thrill, the splash zone is back and promises to be a splash hit, offering a chance for attendees to dunk local celebrities and community figures. Participants can also join interactive live classes, pickleball and other engaging activities.
