WCC Music Series: Havana String Quartet

Havana comes to Wayzata. The acclaimed Havana Quartet brings Caribbean warmth and Latin American rhythm to the stage, with host Charles Lazarus guiding a program of contemporary Cuban composers Aldo López-Gavilán and Paquito D'Rivera, followed by a live interview and audience Q&A. As artists-in-residence with CAYO, a Twin Cities nonprofit connecting the US and Cuba through music, the quartet spends its time off-stage teaching in Minnesota schools and community centers, spreading the same spirit that fuels this concert.
