Wow, it's been 25 years of WCAB hosting the Irish Wake! What started as a small crazy event with friends has turned into a full-blown Waupaca tradition forged in Love, Song and Remembrance! And a ton of fun!!! We are so excited to partner with HH Hinder, The Eight10 and Doc Kelly's for this 25th Annual celebration!!!

Sneak Peak of Events:
WCAB partners with H.H. Hinder, the new Eight10, and Doc Kelly's!!! We are determined to make this all work, and guarantee it'll be fun!
Here is the schedule but don't you dare hold us to it!
**2 - 4:30p.m.: Music in H.H. Hinder Taproom with John Laedtke and Friends. John's group will be playing traditional and ballads in the Irish tradition.
While John and Friends are playing, we will be going around asking for the names of loved ones to be written in the Honor Roll if you wish. Let go of something you want to be done with by writing it down and tossing it in the coffin!
**4:30-ishp.m.: Carrying the coffin and procession to the Eight10 building with willing participants and a Uilleann Piper.
**5:00p.m.: Uilleann piper will play a few tunes and Irish food available for purchase thanks to KRBS Barbecue.
**5:30-6:15ish p.m.: We will continue Irish music with John Laedtke and Friends, including the elder Irish Wake musicians, with songs from the Annual Irish Wake Songbook. A couple of Irish Poems and various toasting, dedicating, and the reading of the Honor Roll.
**6:30p.m.: Flip O' the Coin. The evening will be rich with Irish music and Irish dancers. We will have the opportunity to participate in a Ceilidh dance, with a Ceilidh caller on hand to help us with our moves!
**7 pm ish: The Laedtke group leaves to play at Doc Kelly's for a wee bit more music and merriment!!!
