WBTT's 4th Annual Juneteenth Arts Festival

Join us for an unforgettable day honoring freedom, heritage and Black culture. This vibrant festival brings together a dynamic mix of local vendors, live performances, delicious food trucks, powerful films and an inspiring art gallery experience.
The festivities begin at 1:00 PM. Enjoy live music, spoken word, African dance, films from local filmmakers and students from Ringling College of Art & Design, local vendors, food trucks, visual art, and more. The festival also features performances by WBTT fan-favorite artists and students from WBTT’s Stage of Discovery intensive youth musical theatre summer program.
The evening concludes with a FREE special performance of WBTT artist Brian L. Boyd’s ENIGMA at 7:30 PM. Inspired by George C. Wolfe’s The Colored Museum, the production blends gospel, hip-hop, and other musical styles in a bold exploration of identity, culture, and legacy. The performance features many of Sarasota and WBTT’s beloved talents, including Todd Bellamy, Derric Gobourne Jr., Michael Mejia-Mendez and Amber Myers.

Admission is free and open to the public.
Reservation on Eventbrite for Saturday's Juneteenth Arts Festival will not guarantee seating for ENIGMA showcase. Seating for this event it limited, so stop by Will Call to reserve your FREE seat upon arrival.
