The Wayne Health Mobile Units represent the future of healthcare, providing ‘care your way, where you live and work,’ with the long-term goal of improving population health outcomes. Our mobile units deliver an ever-expanding menu of health care and social services directly to your neighborhood or place of employment. We are here to help you and we will be there every step of the way.

The Wayne Health Mobile Units are staffed by registered nurses, medical/research assistants, community health workers, patient & family health advocates, and overseen by physicians from the Center of Population Health and Accountability at Wayne Health. Our team offers a variety of free health screenings and services to our patients.

In addition to events hosted by our community partners, the Wayne Health Mobile Unit is bringing medical services right to your door. Our door-to-door teams are canvassing neighborhoods throughout Detroit offering health screenings for high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and kidney disease, COVID-19 vaccines, and COVID-19 testing.
