Chicago blues powerhouse Wayne Baker Brooks brings blazing guitar, soul-deep vocals, and serious pedigree to the stage. The son of legend Lonnie Brooks, Wayne grew up alongside icons like Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, and Koko Taylor—and it shows in every note.
A veteran bandleader and former musical director for his father, Brooks has shared stages with Buddy Guy, Susan Tedeschi, Taj Mahal, Robert Randolph, and more. Expect high-energy, authentic Chicago blues with a modern edge.
The Nighthawks enter the new year with two new members: Zach Sweeney on guitar and Sol Roots on bass, joining drummer/singer/songwriter Mark Stutso and founder, lead singer and harpmaster Mark Wenner. With some 30 recordings, multiple awards, and more than four decades of road-tested blues and roots rock, The Nighthawks deliver legendary live shows that mix fresh originals with their signature classics.
