Veterans, Military and those who support our Veterans and Military: You are encouraged and invited to attend a ceremony at the Waxahachie, Texas. Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 1513 will proclaim the City of Waxahachie, Texas a "Purple Heart City". THE PROCLAMATION WILL BE READ DURING THE REGULAR MEETING IN THE CIVIC CENTER CONFERENCE ROOM A&B

There will be a ceremony at 5:00 PM
Followed by the Designation by the city council at 7:00 PM
Please arrive early at 5:00 PM to take your seats.
The purpose is to honor this city and it's residents, for their support of the combat wounded veterans, and their families.
