A hands-on introduction to lost wax casting, guiding you through wax carving techniques to make your own silver pendant.
About this Event

Join me for a creative 2-hour pendant making workshop exploring the art of wax carving!

In this hands-on session, you’ll design and hand-carve your own bespoke pendant from jewellers’ wax. Your wax pendant will then be professionally cast in sterling silver, finished and polished after the workshop, and sent to you.

This workshop is a chance to slow down, get creative, and connect with friends and fellow makers while creating a meaningful piece of jewellery you’ll treasure for years to come.

All materials and tools are provided, including carving tools, jewellers’ wax, and plenty of design inspiration to spark your ideas. No experience is needed! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners.

There will also be the chance to purchase a chain to go with your pendant if you choose!

The Workshop Includes

• Drawing materials and design cards
• Mood boards and examples in both wax and metal
• All tools and materials, jewellers wax, wax files, carving tools, sandpaper, and fine-point engraving tools
• Step-by-step wax carving guidance, including written instructions
• One-to-one support throughout the session
• Your completed wax pendant professionally cast in sterling silver
  Your finished pendant (with or without chain) will be posted to your home address approximately 2-4 weeks after the workshop, with the option to collect in person.

Cost Breakdown

Workshop fee: £30

(Covers the 2-hour guided workshop, tools, materials, and tuition)

Sterling silver casting, finishing & polishing: £60

(Includes professional casting and finishing of your pendant)

Total cost: £90

You can also choose to cast your pendant in differnt metals. This will be discussed during the workshop.

Payment Options

You can choose one of two options:

Option 1: Pay in full

• Pay £90 upfront to cover both the workshop and silver casting.

Option 2: Split payment

• Pay £30 to secure your workshop place
• Pay the remaining £60 casting fee at the end of the workshop, once your wax pendant is complete
  

Casting costs are based on a standard silver pendant. Significant increases in size or weight may incur an additional cost, which will be discussed during the workshop.

Cancellation Policy

• Full refunds are available if you give at least 72 hours’ notice before the workshop.
• Refunds after this time may not be possible, but please do contact me if you have extenuating circumstances and I will do my best to accommodate.
