Sacramento based band Waves of Distortion began in the summer of 2018, combining melodic distortion with clean tones in search of new melodies. Their sophomore album, Shattered, released in early summer 2024. They are presently in the studio recording their third album. Opening for the likes of Alien Ant Farm and others, they have carved quite a name for themselves in central California.
THE RIFT (Sodeh Records, LA, CA)
L.A. based hard rock act. Having appeared on prior Vans Warped tour. The Rift has shared the stage with the likes of Exodus, Tantric, Joan Jett &the Blackhearts, Knocked Loose, Unearth, Motionless in White, Ice Nine Kills, Living Color, & more. Springboard Festival San Diego 2025, Big bear The Cave Village Sports bar 2025, Ivoted Festival (twice), Orange County Summer Festival, Next 2 Rock 95.5 KLOS FM Viper Room 2018 and runs with Bobaflex and Tantric.
A music producer named Bruce H , known for working with some of rock’s best acts, i.e. Black Veil Brides, Kiss, was struck by the show. He was taken by the authenticity of the performance and approached the band after the show.
