As part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, together with Friends of Serenity, would like to warmly invite you and your loved ones to join us for our Wave of Light remembrance evening.
The Wave of Light is a special opportunity for families to come together to remember and honour babies who are no longer with us. We will gather in a peaceful and supportive space, taking a moment to reflect and remember the little lives that will always hold a place in our hearts.

Thursday 15th October
Arrival from 6:30pm for a 6:45pm start
Lancashire Women and Newborn Centre
Together, we will light candles in remembrance, joining families around the world in creating a beautiful Wave of Light.
You are very welcome to attend with your partner, family members or anyone you would like to have beside you. There is no expectation to speak or share your story — you are welcome simply to come, remember and be with others who understand.
We know that attending an event like this can bring many emotions, so please only join us if it feels right for you.
We would be honoured to remember your baby alongside you. All babies that are on the Tree of Life or on last year’s wave of light list will automatically be read out on the evening or we will shortly add more information if you little one isn’t on the tree/list and you would like to add them .
