WAVBC Vietnam Tourism Event

One year on from the Vietnam Airlines launch, there is now a steady increase in West

Australians visiting Vietnam for the first time. During the last twelve months, the WAVBC

has been active in identifying not just B2B opportunities but also helping Vietnam’s tourism

market.

This ‘Vietnam Tourism Event’ will provide an interesting update on a few of the key Vietnam

tourism activities where the WAVBC has been requested to provide support or expertise.

Our speakers will be:

Mr Ngo The Viet–Australia Sales & Marketing Manager, Vietnam Airlines - providing an

update on the Vietnam Airlines service from Ho Chi Minh City to Perth and advise on

connecting global services from Ho Chi Minh City.

Pankaj Pathak – Managing Director, Phoenix Academy – will talk about the success of a

‘WA Designed’ Vietnam Destination Management Micro Credential Program that now has

the interest of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

David Morgan – President WAVBC – A general overview of Ba Ria Vung Tau Province as a

tourism experience, including some of its new regional experiences. Plus, a few insights to

other popular tourism destinations in Southern Vietnam.
