Wauhatchie School Discovery Day: Reflection Riding

Looking for a holistic approach to your child's education that's rooted in nature and connection? Prospective forest school families are invited to to learn more about what happens in the Wauhatchie forest.

Reflection Riding is home to Preschool - 5th grade outdoor classrooms for learners ages 3-10.

Forest Preschool and Jr. Kindergarten are play-based and child-led, helping learners build independence, resilience, self-awareness, empathy, and a deep connection to the natural world.

Forest K–5 programs blend standards-aligned instruction in Math, Literacy, Social Studies, STEAM, and Art with abundant forest exploration. Using an emergent, project-based approach and small class ratios, we integrate multiple standards through hands-on, collaborative experiences tailored to each child’s curiosity and needs.
