Become a Watershed Steward! Join us for the Watershed Stewards Program, an interactive, science-based training series focused on protecting and enhancing our local water resources.
Tuesdays, March 3–April 21, 9:00–11:30 a.m.
Sarah Bush Lincoln Education Center
Participants will explore how watersheds work—from hydrology and water quality to flooding and the ecological benefits of healthy waterways. This program highlights why keeping our water clean isn’t just the job of treatment facilities—it’s a shared responsibility, and everyday actions make a difference.
Special opportunity: Participants who attend all training sessions will be eligible to receive one of 25 available free Soft Landings Kits, which include approximately 75 native plants (3 species) designed to cover 175 square feet of garden space, along with design templates, installation instructions, and mulch—everything needed to create habitat under native trees and help reduce stormwater runoff and nutrient loss.
This program is ideal for community members, local leaders, and anyone interested in learning how to be part of the solution for clean water.
