প্রযোজনা বৃত্তান্তঃ ওয়াটারনেস জল ও নারীর সম্পর্ক নিয়ে একটি নীরিক্ষাধর্মী প্রযোজনা, যা ১৮৯০-১৯৪১ পর্যন্ত বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের জীবনকালের বিভিন্ন রচনা, লেখনী, সাহিত্য, চিঠি, গান, চিত্রকর্ম ও সৃজনশীল কর্মকান্ডকে অবলম্বন করে গড়ে উঠেছে। এসময়ে কবিগুরুর জীবন ও ভাবনায় জল ও নদী গভীর ছাপ রেখেছিল। রবীন্দ্রনাথ তার ব্যক্তিজীবনে যে ক্রমাগত সংগ্রাম,স্বজন হারানোর বেদনা আর অন্তর্দন্দ্বের মধ্য দিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন, তার প্রভাবে কবিগুরুর লেখনীতে এক বিবর্তনের ধারা সূচিত হয়েছিল, যা গবেষনার মাধ্যমে এই প্রযোজনায় সংকলন করার প্রয়াস করা হয়েছে।

Waterness is the first ever dance theatre in Bangladesh that aims to find relationship between woman and water. It is a quest to embrace the essence of womanhood. It aims to capture the creative journey of Rabindranath Tagore from 1890 -1941. The river becomes a very important motif for storytelling here. The trajectory that we shall try to trace in this production is the major shift in the nature of creations by Tagore in post “Manashi” period. We feel this shift in tone is a reflection of the innermost negotiations of the Poet who was juggling with various responsibilities during the time we have tried to capture. The production is dedicated to Kadombori Debi.
