16-player snooker event for amateurs and professionals. This best-of-7 frames scratch event will be played in one day from 11am. All players must pay the £65 (card or transfer) to confirm entry to Dave Lewis 07736 230283
I am currently seeking venues (4–6 high-quality tables), competitive players, and event sponsors for a new monthly, 16-player, 1-day snooker pro-ams.
These events are designed specifically for Q School–level amateurs and lower-ranked professional players who want a demanding, structured, and competitive environment similar to the professional circuit.
Each tournament will be best-of-7 matches, with a focus on performance, pressure management, professional habits, and continuous improvement. My previous comps have helped put some of you on the tour, so I want these to be a valuable stepping stone, helping players prepare mentally, technically, and tactically for higher-level competition.
These events are not about clubs or me making money; they're about promoting the game and players. Smart club owners can see this clearly. I will be sponsoring some young players in that respect.
